![]() Remember to give your fellow skiers and riders plenty of space to navigate. I've been continuing to find good turns under the lift at Silver Fir, skier's right side of Sunrise near the trees where it's groomed, skier's right of Dodge Ridge, and even though Julies is closed today the skier's left side of that chair has good turns/coverage as well. Tip - slow down prior to these steeper or "scraped off" areas and you won't have to deal with as much of the harshness of those icy areas. That's also where snow depth tends to be the most shallow. You'll find those icier spots where people tend to hit the brakes or make tighter turns, often in steeper sections or just over knolls. ![]() Out on the mountain you're going to find variable conditions, a mix of loose granular snow, refrozen granular snow, hard pack, and some icier areas where the surface snow has been scraped off repeatedly. There's not quite an inch of new snow on the surface so far, so the primary snow conditions are still the same as the last few days, just with the added bonus of snow coming down. there's more on the way! Okay, but back to today. Good afternoon my fellow snow riders! The first signs of a weather pattern shift just showed up and it's finally snowing again! If you haven't checked out the forecast for Friday and the weekend yet, take a look.
